Where is Ganja Located?
Ganja is located in western Azerbaijan, about 330 km west of Baku, near the foothills of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains. Its position makes it a gateway to beautiful natural landscapes like lakes and mountain parks.
How to Reach Ganja
- By Train: There are regular trains connecting Baku and Ganja, taking about 4 to 5 hours.
- By Bus or Shared Taxi: Frequent bus services and shared taxis run between Baku and Ganja.
- By Car: Driving takes around 4 hours via the M1 highway.

Ganja impressed me with its relaxed vibe and beautiful green spaces. It feels more traditional compared to Baku but equally welcoming. Whether wandering through the old streets or enjoying the peaceful lake trips nearby, it offers a refreshing change of pace.
