I traveled to Cambodia in February 2025 with my wife and spent 5 days exploring, but if you have only 4 days, this plan gives you the perfect mix. Every spot here is based on our personal experience — no guesswork, just real, memorable moments.

Day 1: Phnom Penh – History, Culture & Night Market

Royal Palace

• Arrive in Phnom Penh and check into your hotel

• Visit the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda

• Explore the National Museum of Cambodia

• Reflect at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21)

• Walk along the Riverside Promenade

• End your evening at the lively Phnom Penh Night Market — great for souvenirs, local snacks, and live performances

• Optional: Sunset cruise on the Mekong River

Day 2: Travel to Siem Reap & Local Exploration

• Take a bus to Siem Reap

• Check in to your hotel in the city center

• Visit the Angkor National Museum for context before temple visits

• Explore the Old Market (Phsar Chas) and nearby boutique shops

• In the evening, head to Pub Street for music, bars, and great energy

• Visit the Siem Reap Night Market for crafts, clothing, and souvenirs

Day 3: Angkor Temples Highlights

Angkor Wat Temple

• Start the day with sunrise at Angkor Wat — a must-see

• Visit Angkor Thom and the stunning Bayon Temple

• Explore the atmospheric Ta Prohm Temple, famous for its jungle-covered ruins

• Return to town and relax or revisit Pub Street for food, music, and people-watching

Day 4: Tonle Sap Floating Village & Departure
