I’m Chandan Singh, a passionate traveler who has explored 18 countries. Last month, I visited Bali with my wife and spent 7 days exploring Kuta, Ubud, and Nusa Penida. If you’re staying in Kuta but want to explore Ubud in a day, here’s the perfect itinerary.

  • 7:00 AM – Depart from Kuta – Private driver or scooter rental.
  • 8:30 AM – Tegenungan Waterfall – One of Bali’s most famous waterfalls, great for photos.
  • 9:30 AM – Sacred Monkey Forest – Walk through the lush forest and see playful monkeys.
  • 10:30 AM – Ubud Palace & Saraswati Temple – Explore Bali’s cultural and historical sites.
  • 11:30 AM – Tegallalang Rice Terraces – Walk through the stunning green landscapes.
  • 12:30 PM – Bali Swing (Optional) – Experience the famous jungle swing.
  • 2:30 PM – Tirta Empul Temple – Experience Bali’s holy water purification ritual.
  • 4:00 PM – Coffee Plantation Visit – Try Luwak coffee and learn about Bali’s coffee-making process.
  • 5:00 PM – Drive Back to Kuta – Reach your hotel by evening.

Tips for a Smooth Trip:

✔ Hire a Private Driver or Rent a Bike
✔ Start Early – Avoid crowds at major attractions.
✔ Wear Comfortable Clothes & Shoes – Some sites require walking on uneven terrain.
✔ Carry Cash – Entrance fees and local shops often don’t accept cards.
