Booking taxi via Bolt app does not mean it is scam free. From the airport , I ordered a taxi via Bolt which costed 4 manats to the my hotel which was Near Nizami Street. When I met the drive, He told me to cancel the order via the app because of payment issues but i ignore him. When exiting the airport area he said that 4 manats was starting fare and trip cost will be up to 90 manats. I was new there and that was late night and i was tired so i said its ok just drop me at hotel. He asked me to confirm my hotel address again . Later he said to cancel this ride and will drop me in 60 manats. I said its ok but it was still too much.

When i reached at hotel, i said all this story to hotel staff, he told its now happening with lots of travelers so better use Airport bus that is cheap just in 2 manats can travel but between city i used bolt app others exprience was good only have scam from Airport.

This is just to caution fellow travellers that booking via Bolt does not necessarily mean you are safe from scams.

You can come to city centre from Airport in Just 2 Manats by Airport Bus
